Love Yourself and Your Baby

Love Yourself and Your Baby

By Irena Edrovska | Prenatal Wellbeing & Prenatal Yoga

Your body & mind are your baby’s very first home. Welcome it in a clean, warm, pleasant and cosy home, decorated with beautiful thoughts, warm emotions and inspiring words.

Welcome it as you welcome a dear old friend whom you haven’t met for a long time at your home. You want his/her stay to be pleasant, you prepare a room, you put clean sheets, pillows, a blanket and clean towels on the bed, you put fresh flowers on the table… everything you can think of to make the stay wonderful and unforgettable.

Then, you spend time with your dear old friend, talking together, listening to music together, going for a walk, visiting beautiful places, having a good time.

Your baby is a dear old friend who will share your body and mind with you for about 9 months. Obviously, you want to prepare your womb, your body the best way you can for the baby. Besides doing your regular medical checks with your obstetrician, please take care of the garden of your mind – what kind of thoughts and emotions you let in and dwell on.

Your baby needs love, peace, safety, warmth, gentle caresses. You hug it with your soft womb, you nurture its body with the nutrition from your blood and you nurture its mind with your beautiful thoughts of it, with your beautiful emotions for it. In that way, you supply it with the best conditions for its harmonious growth and development.

The mom-to-be and the baby are entangled. In return, the baby makes you beautiful and sparkling with joy. You acquire a special kind of glow in your aura. You are living a one-of-a-kind symbiosis, the one that only another mom-to-be can understand.

The baby empowers you, your self-confidence grows, the protective side for yourself and the baby becomes stronger. The interconnection is firm with the only aim of protecting the new life and enabling the evolution of the new generations.

Cultivating positive, kind, noble thoughts and emotions (mental and emotional wellbeing) helps the mom-to-be have an inner growth as a human being and as a personality. But even more, that creates optimal conditions for the baby’s inner growth as well, to grow into a good, kind, caring and intelligent human being with a strong personality and self-confidence.

Our planet Earth will keep homing the generations to come and from their intelligence and empathy depends the future of Earth. Let us bring to life children capable of doing the right things and making the right decisions for the continuation of the human race as a whole.
